| And these five handsome
guys were pretty darn good. Wearing
their trademark burgundy tuxedo jackets, these young singers performed all over
Brooklyn at popular night spots, high school dances and record hops, as well as
dozens of private parties and charity events.
They always looked cool and sang even
better... and that's a fact Jack.

Joe also played electric guitar and 'The Wonders'
even had the chance to cut at record at Decca's studio in Manhattan. One of the songs was a great remake of "World on a
String."

You may think of a movie called
"That Thing You Do" which Tom Hanks directed and appeared in. Hanks
played a record producer who took an interest in a rock group called 'The Wonders' and helped them get their
first hit song. But it has nothing to do with the original guys from 76th
Street. Just a coincidence.
Gee...
maybe Tom owes us some royalties. |
